It’s hard to believe that February is already upon us, and lots of schools are already looking ahead to winter break! If you haven’t had a chance to plan out some fun activities for the month, don’t worry. Hunakai Studio of Art is offering a winter break workshop from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 21 that we think your kids will love.
To celebrate the recent success of the Harry Potter franchise film, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” we’ve designed a workshop class called Fantastic Beasts and How to Draw Them!
Whether your children are Harry Potter fanatics or merely interested in magical creatures, this class is perfect for kids. Fans of the series will recognize the magical creatures that we’ll learn how to draw throughout the class, and some of the beasts’ features may be up for debate if you’re a die-hard fan!
Students will create their own magical creatures in two dimensions, melding the real world with magical and cartoonish styles. Children can create their own unique beasts or learn to draw beasts and monsters featured in the Harry Potter universe. This class is great for young kids who have recently become interested in the Harry Potter franchise, too, and is a wonderful way to keep your children engaged during winter break.
Spots are filling up fast, so register soon for this winter workshop session. The cost is $60, and includes all materials to be used during this one-day event.
